描述:
磷质壳瓣表面具有凹点壳饰，包裹头部以及胸部。壳瓣沿着中线折叠，形成“双瓣”模式。每个壳瓣，侧视外形呈近椭圆形，并略向后摆。背侧缘微凸，背后角约125°。头部发育一个三角形的骨片，一对柄状眼，一对双支型触角和两对较短的单肢型附肢。胸部，共九体节，每个体节发育一对双肢型附肢。腹部具三型性，由5至7个体节组成。叶状尾支呈椭圆形，边缘具三角形加厚边，表面的两个凹槽，将每个尾叶细分为三个等长的部分。

Description:
The phosphatic shield is ornamented and covering the cephalon and thorax. The shield is folded along a median line giving a “bivalved” arrangement. Each valve is sub-elliptical in outline and slightly swings toward the posterior. Dorsal margin is slightly convex and intersects the posterodorsal margin with an angle of about 125°. The cephalon bears a median triangular sclerite, a pair of stalk eyes, a pair of biramous antennules two pair of short uniramous appendages. Thorax with nine segments, each carries a pair of homonomous biramous appendages. Trimorphic abdomen is composed of five to seven segments. Lobate caudal rami are fringed with a triangular thickened tail beam and subdivided into three subequal pieces by two grooves on its surface.
